It will feature garden tours\, food\, music\, and speaker: Noel Paul Stookey! \nNoel Paul Stookey is a musician\, activist\, and member of the legendary folk trio Peter\, Paul and Mary — long engaged in movements for peace\, civil rights\, and ecological responsibility- and our keynote speaker for a special afternoon celebrating The Good Life Center’s designation on the National Historic Register. \nThe celebration will feature: \n\nDocumentary of the Nearings shown in the Library\nMeet & Greet with members of The Good Life Center Board\nChildren’s Activities: Face Painting and Fairy House Building\nVegetarian snacks provided\n\nSchedule: \n12:00 pm: Event start\n1:00-3:00 pm: Forest Farm Tours\n2:00 pm: Musical entertainment (TBD)\n3:00 pm: WERU’s Jay Peterson sings songs of Woody Guthrie\n3:45 pm: Director and Chair introduce keynote speaker and briefly describe the Nearing Legacy\n4:00 pm: Keynote Speaker: Noel Paul Stookey
