Composting 101

Helen and Scott Nearing developed a method for increasing compost production in their books: Living the Good Life and Continuing the Good Life. Their method can increase the pile size and compost production. Learn the basics from our Farm Manager, Warren Berkowitz, and Property Caretaker, Mike McGlone. This will be a hands-on workshop!

10am- 12pm

 Warren Berkowitz is the manager of Forest Farm. Over the last 15 years, he has helped many people learn the Nearing Methods of organic gardening. Mike McGlone is our current Property Caretaker. He helps manage our garden (and compost piles).
