Vermont homesteader and writer Greg Joley will lead this workshop at the Nearing’s first Maine homestead next door to The Good Life Center. This is a hands on workshop designed for both the experienced homesteader and beginners alike. Participants will experience the building of a stone wall utilizing the method that Helen and Scott Nearing employed to build their iconic stone walls. Participants will put together the wood forms, mix the mortar, build the walls, and learn how to point a completed section of stone wall. Have fun, work hard, and learn!
