This hands on workshop is designed to assist gardeners in employing methods and strategies while working in the garden and around the house that reduce strain injuries, muscle pulls, and back pain. Learning proper work techniques for such activities as lifting heavy loads and weeding while kneeling will improve one’s productivity and enhance the gardening experience. Yoga teacher David Chapman will lead the participants in stretching exercises that will model proper garden ergonomics and help participants prepare for work with reduced chance of injury.
The Good Life Center believes in reciprocity and community; as such, all possible workshops are sliding scale. See the Sliding Scale ticket if you cannot afford full price.
