Open Farm Day – July 28

Maine Dept of Agriculture’s 30th Annual Open Farm Day is coming up and The Good Life Center is once again one of the featured farms! Our highlighted speaker for the day’s activities is author and homesteader Kirsten Lie-Nelson of “So You Want To Be A Modern Homsteader?”. She lives & works on Hostile Valley Farm In Liberty Maine. There will also be workshops, and tours of Helen & Scott Nearing’s last homestead and garden. 9 AM to 3 PM.
