Upcoming 2020 Season News

The Board of Directors of the Helen and Scott Nearing Good Life Center came to the difficult decision to close our 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are saddened that the Resident Stewards for the 2020 season Joe Lerro and Rachael Schmoker will not be able to join us. We were quite excited to have their special talents and energy. We also had a great Monday Night Meeting line-up for July and August, which will have to be postponed. The core staff will keep the center and gardens going this spring, summer and fall. Keep watching the website and our Facebook page “The Good Life Center” for updated postings and videos of the homestead and gardens and any further announcements.

As The Good Life Center only survives on donations and does not have an endowment, we encourage you to make a donation as you are able, to help us through this tough time. We thank you for your continued support and wish you the best during this difficult time.
